Year 10 High Plains

Ballarat Grammar School

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The program puts a focus on resilience and leadership by providing opportunities for students to announce themselves as student mentors. This OEG facilitated program encourages students to take responsibility and demonstrate resilience in challenging alpine weather conditions.

Students will have the opportunity to learn and practice skiing skills before embarking on a multi-day cross country ski journey. The flexible nature of the program means groups will be able to decide whether they base camp or journey further out onto the High Plains for a greater challenge.
