Haileybury College
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
During this 10-day program students will work on personal and interpersonal development, using Haileybury’s ACHIEVE framework to guide the facilitation. This unique journey will take you bushwalking on the Great Southwest Walk, which hugs the coastline and canoe in Discovery Bay near Portland. A visit to Tower Hill (an extinct volcano) you will meet traditional owners, the Worn Gundidg who will take you on country for a tour of special places around Tower Hill. You will also have a stop at Tyrendarra for a Budj Bim tour with the Gunditjmara people, to learn how traditional owners used natural materials to build fish and eel traps along wetland areas of the southern coast.
