PROGRAM OVERVIEW

During this 10 day program students will work on personal and interpersonal development, using Haileybury’s ACHIEVE framework to guide the facilitation. After flying to Alice Springs, students will transfer to the Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre and settle into geodesic domes for the night.  The nature centre offers educational sessions on permaculture, sustainability and managing water resources in the desert, with options for a conservation project on their property. Students spend a few days in this learning space before transferring to the Larapinta Trail to bushwalk through the most scenic sections of the West Macdonnell Ranges.
