PROGRAM OVERVIEW
During this 10 day program students will work on personal and interpersonal development, using Haileybury’s ACHIEVE framework to guide the facilitation. Journey-based bushwalk and canoe program where students paddle down moving water (without rapids or white water) and bushwalk through river red gum forest. Every night of this journey is spent beach camping along the river’s edge. The Murray is a classic example of a land management area meant to support agricultural, water-use, and recreational-use for many user groups. Students will participate in a land-care project that helps them better appreciate the importance of sustainable management for unique natural environments.
