North East Cycle

Haileybury College

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This journey will see students travel along the North East Cycle route between Bright and Beechworth. The program provides students with an opportunity to challenge themselves in a positive and supported environment. The groups will be made of up to 14 students and accompanied at all times with a staff member from Haileybury College and a Group Leader from OEG. The groups will further be supported by an OEG Course Coordinator and Cycle Activity Specialist.

Partnering with local charities, students learn about the issues facing their community and help to make a difference, increasing their social awareness and sense of responsibility.

8:30am at West Melbourne Campus (King Street)

RETURN TIME

West Melbourne Campus: arrive back approx 3:00pm

Keysborough Campus: arrive back approx 4:15pm

  • Bring a packed lunch for the first day (no nuts)
  • Full water bottles
  • Nut free program
  • All items inside your personal bag – loose items can get misplaced easily
  • Personal medications (with letter from home regarding administration)
