Year 7 Camp Jungai
St Catherine's School
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Nestled in the Rubicon Valley two hours northeast of Melbourne is Camp Jungai, which means ‘meeting place’ in the Taungurung language. The land has great cultural and historical significance to the Aboriginal people, and as more people visit Jungai, it becomes significant to others as well.
This program will see students spend five days at Camp Jungai, two nights in cabins and two nights in tents or tarps. Groups will be made of up to 14 students and will be accompanied by an OEG group leader and St Catherine’s staff member for the entire program. Meals will be a combination of Camp Jungai Dining Hall and student prepared supervised by their staff.
