Challenging course.
Sustainable practices.

Marysville is bordered by State Forest and accommodates up to 250 people. Comfortably.

Easy walking distance from town and able to split into smaller sub-sites - making it possible for several school groups to enjoy their own space within a wider camp community - Marysville is perfect for groups looking to get away from it all. But not too far away.

Accommodation

Big Site. Small Sites.
And Creature Comforts.

Marysville’s main site can be broken into several, smaller sub-sites, each featuring a series of multi-bed cabins and central leader’s lodge.

All cabins sleep 6 - 8 students and come equipped with reverse-cycle air-conditioning/heating, ensuite, and shower.

Lodges sleep 2 adults and similarly equipped to cabins, with kitchenette and lounge room, too.

Catering

Healthy. Allergen-
Friendly. Sustainable.

At Maryville we promote healthy eating and more considered consumption habits by harvesting, cooking, and eating together. As a group. By involving students from picking to plating, we equip them with the knowledge and skills to prepare delicious meals for themselves. And families, thereafter.

We also focus on sustainability. Growing our own ingredients. Or sourcing seasonal, fair-trade produce from local providers. Reducing transport distances wherever possible. And putting waste to good use by either composting it, or turning it into animal feed.

Spaces.

Grand Hall.
Assembly Room.
Open Air Spaces.

Our Grand Hall hosts up to 250 people. And comes equipped with a PA system, projector and screen.

Our Assembly Hall hosts up to 100 people. With elbow room.

And we have several Open Air Spaces - some under cover - suitable for most sizes of gathering.

Programs

All Ages. Diverse levels of challenge.

All programs are hands-on. And designed to challenge both body, and mind.

Energising adventure activities, nutritious and delicious self-made food, and uplifting music classes are all used to teach students that doing is the best way of learning. And that with effort comes reward.
