Senior Human Resources Manager

Brand new role. Location negotiable.

This is a new and exciting role reporting to the Head of Human Resources, Recruitment and Staffing, in which you will have direct responsibility for the delivery of a quality Human Resource service to the Organisation. A true generalist role, you will oversee key functions of Human Resources such as Recruitment, Workplace Health and Safety and Employee and Workplace Relations. Your role will see you work with your team ensuring that they have the skills and experience to carry out their roles effectively and to act as a guide and mentor for them. As a strategic thinker you will also develop and support an organisational culture that creates the potential for growth and learning within the organisation.

Location is negotiable. Can be based in Melbourne or Eildon in VIC or out of our Moss Vale office in the Southern Highlands in NSW

Salary range between 80k-90k plus super

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in Generalist HR management across a multi-site organisation will be expected.
  • Proven skills in creating process and procedures that assist Team Leaders to effectively manage their teams, including professional development, performance management
  • Experience and knowledge in developing and supervising an Employee Experience program that engages all staff
  • Experience in managing and supporting change management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a strategic recruitment strategy which utilises innovative and creative approaches to attract new staff.
  • Knowledge of the AS4801 Workplace Health and Safety standard will be highly advantageous
  • A strong team player with experience in leading teams and people and be able to effectively delegate as required
  • Ability to interpret and understand Australian Workplace and recruitment legislation and compliance requirement as it pertains to The Outdoor Education Group.
