The Team Mentor role is specifically designed to encourage the development of experienced Outdoor Educators to create a sustainable and balanced career within The Outdoor Education Group. As a Team Mentor, you will work alongside a Program Coordinator to manage/coach/mentor a pod of staff. As a team you will work with the staff members in your pod to develop their practice in delivering quality outdoor education programs.
The Team Mentors will benefit from succession planning to progress into Program Coordinator, Coach and inter-departmental positions across our organisation. This position gives opportunity to support the work of OEG, to gain work experience through on the job professional development, and to further grow technical, soft and conceptual skills.
Please Note: Due to sponsorship restrictions this role is only open to Australian and NZ Citizens or Residents.

- Have a passion for outdoor education and the benefit it brings to the building of social capital in young Australians.
- Three or more years experience as an Outdoor Educator
- Trip Leader/Activity Support in: Climbing, White Water Rafting, Sea Kayaking or Skiing
