The Outdoor Leadership Academy is an opportunity to join The Outdoor Education Group for the next three years as a salaried member of our team. Working as an Outdoor Educator, you will receive extensive training.

 

You’ll live and learn in a variety of settings and outdoor classrooms. Working in partnership with TAFENSW, we have designed a three-year course that will provide you with the technical expertise and the facilitation skills to be a top performer in our industry.

 

• Year 1: Learner-centric program in a supported learning environment, and associated external skills validation
• Year 2: Continue to develop educational and facilitation skills and professional practice, supported by ongoing external validation.
• Year 3: Continue professional development in both hard skills and essential skill; collaborating with peers to support newer staff and their development; opportunity to specialise in camps environment or operate in a range of venues and natural environments throughout Australia.
