Year 6 - Canberra

Redlands

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Year 6 program represents a significant progression, leveraging previous experiences while empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey. Cultivating independence through residential stays and camping, students embrace challenges confidently, guided by “challenge by choice”. This program aligns with the Canberra Excursion curriculum, integrating academic goals with experiences in Australian civics, abseiling, cycling, and bushwalking. These skills are foundational for Senior School programs. Additionally, the program fosters holistic development, enhancing students’ understanding of Self, Others, and Our Nation through diverse experiences and cultural engagement.
