Year 10 Hattah
Year 10s rise early, plan their routes, and get onto the tracks as quickly as possible. The rhythm of Hattah life dictates that you get an early start, ensure your nav’ is good, and reap the rewards of getting into camp early, with time to chill, refresh, and ready for the next adventure.
This is a bush walk and canoe journey with ample time to reflect and wonder and just “be”.
Navigation, personal responsibility, group tasks, time management and accepting challenge are all inherent in this journey. Social capabilities around empathy, resilience and referent respect underpin the project.
BushwalkingBe it a day's hike or a short walk to camp, bushwalking engages all our senses allowing us to explore nature and our place within it. And we always find something exciting along the way!
CanoeingFollowing the flow of the river, we love to explore the waterways on our canoes. Working as a team, using our muscles and problem-solving together to reach our base for the night.
CampingCamping out in tents is our speciality! We love telling stories around the campfire, looking up at the night sky and creating memories that will last a lifetime!
Personal Reflection Time
