Nestled in the Rubicon Valley of VIC, Jungai enjoys a strong connection to local indigenous leaders, offering tomorrow’s leaders insight into the land, its history, and its first people.
Students from years 3 to 7 will connect with the land more deeply, and complete hands-on programmes that inspire, empower and motivate. They will learn teamwork, independence, and grow their connection to the natural environment and learn the importance of sustainability.
Bordered by State Forest, Jungai can accommodate 156 campers either in 10 X 12 bed cabins or out under the stars. We offer orienteering, ropes courses, cycling and hiking journeys. Our activity centre is set up for arts and indoor space, ensuring the action doesn’t stop when the weather sets in. We promote healthy eating and more considered consumption habits by harvesting, cooking, and eating together. Students gain the knowledge and skills to prepare delicious meals for themselves. We also focus on native or homegrown ingredients, and compost waste or turn it into animal feed.
