Year 7 The Tops Conference Centre
Kincoppal Rose Bay
New beginning: Building relationships.
The year 7 program is aimed at uniting the year level as this is a big intake year for the school. Many of the students will have gone through the elementary school and as a result formed strong friendship groups. The aim of this program is to integrate the year level as much as possible.
A good starting point for this is by having fun.
BushwalkingBe it a day's hike or a short walk to camp, bushwalking engages all our senses allowing us to explore nature and our place within it. And we always find something exciting along the way!
High RopesOur high ropes course delivers an exciting challenge with students setting their own goals and developing confidence, determination and decision-making skills.
InitiativesOur many initiatives can be large or small group activities on the land or water, encouraging social connection, negotiation, problem-solving and adaptability, all while having fun!
OrienteeringThere's nothing more exciting than learning a new skill! Orienteering teaches us to read a map and a compass, gauge distances and provides lots of great learning opportunities.
ArcheryArchery is a fun activity requiring focus, concentration, and perseverance. Students shoot their arrows with the aim of hitting the centre of their target.
Giant swingStudents are harnessed and pulled up to their desired height. They then pull the rip-cord to self-release and enjoy flying through the air.
